Oh no Type Co.–Website Redesign

The purpose of this project was to redesign the type foundry company Oh No Type Co. webpage for one of their fonts. For my design I chose to do the typeface Degular. The type foundry describes this type face: "Degular aims to fade into the background [like the finest Japanese-made white noise machine as you drift off to ~dreamland~]." This description was the driving force behind my design. I wanted to create a white noise dreamscape the viewer floats through. I conceptualized this by using a dark background on a horizontal scroll, white text that fades between the different weights the type offer. The site also features overlay menus and in-section scrolling to keep everything on one page. I designed this site on Figma.
